This Privacy Policy explains what information Kelsey Roden, doing business as Exhibyte ("we", "us", "our") collects when you play The Saga of Three Realms (the "Game"), how we use it, and who we share it with.

1. Information We Collect

Steam identity: your Steam ID (SteamID64), used to identify your account and link it to your in-game character and subscription status. We do not receive your Steam username, password, or any other Steam account credentials.
Gameplay data: character progress, inventory, in-game actions, and other data needed to run the Game and save your progress.
Connection data: IP address and connection logs, used for server operation, anti-cheat, and security purposes.
Subscription & billing data: whether your account has an active trial or subscription, and the associated billing period dates. Your actual payment details (card number, billing address, etc.) are collected and processed directly by Paddle, our payment processor and Merchant of Record — we do not receive or store your payment card information.
Support communications: information you provide when you contact us for support, such as your email address and the content of your message.

2. How We Use This Information

To operate the Game and maintain your account, characters, and progress;
To determine whether your account has trial or subscription access;
To maintain server security, prevent cheating and abuse, and enforce our Terms & Conditions;
To respond to support requests;
To comply with legal obligations.

3. Who We Share Information With

Valve/Steam — to verify your Steam identity when you log in (via Steam's own authentication ticket system). Steam's handling of your data is governed by Valve's Privacy Policy.
Paddle.com — our payment processor and Merchant of Record, which collects and processes your payment and billing information directly, as an independent data controller. Paddle's handling of your data is governed by Paddle's Privacy Policy.
Infrastructure/hosting providers — used to run our game servers.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Data Retention

We retain account and gameplay data for as long as your account remains active, and for a reasonable period afterward in case you return. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see Section 6).

5. Children's Privacy

The Game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

6. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information (for example, under the EU/UK GDPR or the California Consumer Privacy Act). To exercise these rights, contact us at exhibyte.help@gmail.com.

7. Cookies

This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies. If you use our subscription checkout, Paddle may set cookies as part of processing your payment — see Paddle's Privacy Policy for details.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Effective date" above.
